This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, arrange a release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. Direct those matters to the public office that maintains the relevant record.
Official Records Contacts
Use the arresting agency for its own report and use Western Tidewater Regional Jail for regional-jail custody material. The two offices maintain different records, even when the arrest occurred in Isle of Wight County.
Isle of Wight County Sheriff's Office
Physical and GPS address: 17110 Monument Circle, Windsor, VA 23487. Mailing address: P.O. Box 75, Isle of Wight, VA 23397. Administrative hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except state and federal holidays. The non-emergency number is (757) 357-2151. For agency records and FOIA requests, email requests@iowso.com or fax (757) 365-6296. Senior Deputy Paul Nash handles records, general requests, subpoenas, warrant information, FOIA compliance, and crime analysis. The office's official contact page and FOIA statement describe its request channels.
Western Tidewater Regional Jail
WTRJ is at 2402 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, VA 23434, and its main number is (757) 539-3119. For a custody-file or booking-record request, the WTRJ FOIA contact is Marissa Dickens at (757) 942-0527, dickensm@wtrj.org, or fax (757) 539-6409. The jail's FOIA rights-and-responsibilities document sets out its request options.
For either office, make a narrow request for an existing record and ask for an estimate in advance. Virginia's actual-cost framework can require a deposit when the expected cost exceeds $200. An adult booking-photo request remains subject to the statutory review in Va. Code § 2.2-3706. No flat Sheriff's booking-photo fee is published.
- For a current or recently released regional-jail status, use the official WTRJ JailTracker lookup.
- For an Isle of Wight Sheriff's Office arrest record or adult photo request, use the Sheriff's records and FOIA route above.
- For WTRJ-held booking or custody material, use the WTRJ FOIA contact rather than the Sheriff's Office.
- For warrant information, consult the Wanted Fugitives guide and confirm status with the appropriate public office.
- For a court outcome, use the Virginia Online Case Information System or the court that holds the case.
- For a sentenced or supervised state record, use the Virginia Department of Corrections locator.
- For a federal inmate or an immigration detainee, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator or ICE detainee locator when that custody system is genuinely relevant.
